Know the process better than anyone in the room.
Samoy joined the firm in high school. By the time he started law school he had already worked on hundreds of real estate transactions — residential, commercial, refinancings and assignments — and had built a working knowledge of the closing process that few articling students bring with them. He is the person who knows what the underwriter will ask, what the title insurer will require, and what the lender will need to fund. On the dispute side he runs Landlord and Tenant Board files end to end, from N4 service through L1 hearing. He believes that the people who win on real estate and LTB files are the people who know the process better than anyone in the room — and he intends to be that person every time.
